Lotus Mother provides UK families with access to holistic motherhood support from birth and beyond. The postnatal support is based on the principles of the Chinese postnatal confinement method. Its four pillars are: physical recovery, mental recovery, nutrition and support.

Lotus Mother offers:

  • Experienced, reliable, and dedicated postnatal UK doulas to support families during the baby’s fourth trimestre. We have a pool of Mandarin, Cantonese as well as English speaking postnatal doulas.

  • Lotus Mother is the only Doula UK accredited training hub for UK doulas who want to learn more about the tradition of postnatal confinement as practised in China and many other Asian countries.

  • Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) speaking nannies for long-term support.

Lotus Mother operates throughout the UK including the Greater London area (Kensington, Chelsea, Tower Hamlets, Westminster, Barnet, Wandsworth, Battersea, Vauxhall, Greenwich), Manchester, Oxfordshire, Reading, Birmingham, Glasgow, Nottingham, Oxford, Hertfordshire, Bristol, Surrey, Kingston upon Thames and Nottinghamshire. We are also able to send doulas to different countries in Europe.
